I love my new monitor but it just has a HDMI and VGA connection on the monitor.  On my video card I just have a DVI and VGA connection.  On the old monitor it had a DVI and VGA output.  I used DVI.  Now here I am with a bigger and better monitor and I am using VGA.

I am happy with the VGA.  The monitor looks great.  Of course if I find out that running HDMI would make something better then I will have to look into it.  But I would have to go with the DVI out on my video card and have a cable that has HDMI on the other end and I am not sure that would make a difference.

Russ says I should get a new video card and get one that has a HDMI output on it.
On he other hand he says nothing I am doing needs HDMI.
Russ did say I could get a ATI HD4300 or HD4850 video card.

It looks like right now I will just be running this monitor with a VGA hook up.
I did find some very cheap cable on Amazon sold by Cables Unlimited
