It is about 9 AM and this is my second night of sleeping on the floor.  I been going to bed early (11 pm or so) and only getting up one time for a bathroom visit and waking up about 6 AM.
If you think the number one thing on my list of things to get is a bed you would be wrong.  So you are thinking TV is number one… wrong again..
The number one thing I want to get is a computer desk.
I have a coat on the way and I think it will get here about Wednesday.  The high today is going to be about 71.  But then it is going to be colder for a few days so I may need the coat.  It has been many years since I have owned a coat.  I hope I remember how to put a cold on.  Smile

I hope on Monday that I get the missing box.  It was a big box but I can not remember everything I put in the box.  I do remember a few things;  hangers, surg wall outlets, hand held (radio) scanner and after that I draw a blank… I can not remember what else is in that box.

I am not running Windows.  I am running Ubuntu right now… There is one program that I miss and that is Windows Live Writer.  It is a program, for Windows, that allows a person to use and editor to post to their blogs.  I have not found anything like it yet that I can run.  (Yes, I know about Wine and things like that.. If I am giving up Windows .. I do not want to run any Windows applications.)

There is one other program I would like to have for Linux and that is a program so that I can control my radio scanner.  To enter the data by hand on the scanner would be a real pain.  I paid for a Windows program that does it and I will miss that program.

Well time to start my first Sunday in Fort Worth.

Ever try an air mattress Jim? They’re quite economical and if getting up an down becomes a problem a platform made of formaldehyde free MDF is pretty inexpensive and easy to build & paint to suit!
