I been saying for a long time that Glenn Beck is a total mental case.  I fear he is going to hurt himself or others.  He needs to see a doctor and he needs to be medicated.  They need to make sure he takes his medication.
  Now he is very popular with many TV viewers.  His show, I find it hard to believe, is very popular.  It gets great ratings.
 
  I do not have cable TV and so I do not get Fox "news" or his TV show.  From what I have heard he does not have any real advertisers! 
  Now I have seen this before… I commented on this blog many many years ago about it.  Except it was about Rush Limbaugh.  Yes, Rush Limbaugh used to be on television.  I had a couple of friends that watched his TV show and loved him.  They were telling me…begging me to watch Rush Limbaugh.  I would say sometimes OK I will watch him until he says something stupid.  I would sit about one minute and he would say something stupid and wrong and I would walk away from the TV set.
  I told my friends he is not going to be on TV very long.  They will take him off the air.  They would say you are crazy his show is very popular.  Then his TV show was moved to like midnight or one AM.  I told them he is going off the air.  They said no he is so popular and I told them look he has no advertisers.  They would say he has advertisers and they would mention some company I never heard of.  I would tell them that.. No he has no real advertisers and he will go off the TV.  Well it was not long after that he was taken off of TV.

   I am sure that the right wing gang will love the show but I do not think it will go over well with others to see that much of Sara Palin.  I got the feeling that for many people the less you see and hear her the better you like her.

  Looks like there IS more to this story than I was thinking…  The DCFS was there for 6 1/2 hours yesterday!

"DCFS social workers arrived at 4 PM yesterday and left at around 10:30 PM — 6 1/2 hours later.
As we first reported, DCFS showed up the night before after receiving a tip that Jermaine Jackson’s 13-year-old son, Jaafar, was playing with a stun gun on the second floor of the residence.
Sources tell us the social workers are interviewing all of the children in the house — including Michael Jackson’s 3 kids — along with other family members and staff. We’re told DCFS is taking the investigation very seriously and the plan yesterday was to come back today as well.
Sources say some of the individual interviews have taken a long time and there is a lot of tension on the property.
We’ve learned there’s a conflict among people who live and work at the property. We know some members of the staff will tell DCFS that the stun gun was there for several days, before a member of security went upstairs and allegedly found Jaafar and other kids playing with the gun and pointing it at Michael’s sons Blanket and Prince…"

  Each time I hear that Michael Jackson’s children are "happy, health and wonderful" then I worry about them.  Did they pay a PR firm to come up with that statement? 
  It looks like Jermaine Jackson’s 13 year old son ordered himself a stun gun via mail order.  He tested it out in the bathroom!  These people have millions of dollars and the kid has to do something like that in a bathroom?  He can not do it in his bedroom?  On top of that security guards can hear what he is doing in the bathroom? 
  I got a feeling if the Jackson’s kids are not messed now they are going to be messed up. 
 
  OK why would a 13 year old boy want a stun gun?  We are not talking about a boy young man that lives in the hood.  Hell he has security guards that can hear him in the bathroom. So it is not for protection.

"Washington (CNN) — Former Vice President Dick Cheney suffered a mild heart attack Monday when he complained of chest pains and was hospitalized, his office said Tuesday.

"Lab testing revealed evidence of a mild heart attack," the statement said. "He underwent a stress test and a heart catheterization. He is feeling good and is expected to be discharged in the next day or two."

During the catheterization, which took place at George Washington University Hospital, doctors examined blood flow to the heart and tested how well the heart was pumping.

In the procedure, a doctor inserts a catheter, a thin plastic tube, into an artery or vein in the arm or leg and threads it into the chambers of the heart or into the coronary arteries. The test can measure blood pressure within the heart and how much oxygen the blood contains.

Two sources said Tuesday that Cheney, 69, was in his hospital room, where he had lunch with family members. He also was working with them editing a chapter of a book he is writing.

  Now I have not been praying for his good health but that is because I do not pray for things like that anymore.  The last time I can remember praying for something like that was when I was in a Catholic high school and prayed all day at school and on the bus heading home.  I was praying that my dog, Lady, would be OK.  She had been sick and my dad refused to spend money to have a vet check her.
  I found her dead in front of the ice box when I got home.  I think I decided then that praying for the heath of a dog was not a good idea.

During his weekend in Columbus he was reported to be intoxicated during his standup performance and groped patrons at a comedy club. Upon his return to Los Angeles, Los Angeles County deputies were called to his residence to respond to a complaint that Dick was throwing beer bottles into his neighbor’s yard. He also slapped a reporter in the face outside a Los Angeles nightclub.^[17]

On July 16, 2008, Dick was arrested in Murrieta, California on suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery. He was arrested for allegedly grabbing and pulling down a 17 year old girl’s tank-top and brassiere down, thereby exposing her breasts. During a search of his person, police reported finding a small quantity of marijuana and one Xanax tablet (for which Dick did not have a prescription) in his front pants pocket.^[18][19]

On May 15, 1999, Dick drove his car into a utility pole in Hollywood. He was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and hit-and-run driving. He later pleaded guilty to felony cocaine possession and two other misdemeanor charges: marijuana possession and possession of "a smoking device". After Dick completed an 18-month drug diversion program, a judge dismissed the felony and misdemeanor drug charges against him.

In 2006, Dick made a widely publicized appearance at the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner. He licked the faces of Farrah Fawcett, Carrie Fisher, and Patton Oswalt, and groped and bit the hand of New York Post reporter Mandy Stadtmiller backstage.^[20] Dick, who holds that Stadtmiller "slanted" the incident,^[21] returned to rehabilitation after the roast.^[22]

Dick can be seen on Sober House, a 2009 Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew spin-off focusing on a sober living environment. Dick approached Dr. Drew Pinsky to ask for help with his addictions and agreed to enter the Sober Living house. In the penultimate episode, Dick explained that his excessive drinking led to many of the public incidents for which he has become notorious and for which he has ruined many of his relationships. In that episode, he visited a number of the people whose lives he had so affected, such as comedian Mo Collins, to apologize for disclosing information to her husband, information which led to her divorce.^[23]

  When Imus (the I man) was on MSNBC I would watch him sometimes.  If there was something happening in the United States I would think I wonder what Imus thinks about this and I wonder what he will say and I would tune in and watch.
  When Imus  was taken off of MSNBC I would tune in and see who was filling in for him and if they were going to be his replacement.
  Then I saw Joe Scarborough filling in for him.  Joe Scarborough a former Republican congressman from FL.  I sort of liked the show with him.  He seemed to sort of middle of the road for a Republican.  He might even take a position that was not a right wing Republican talking point.  It was sort of refreshing.  I was glad when he got the show full time.
  I can not get MSNBC now since I moved.  So I can not watch his show.
  I do see some YouTube clips of him from time to time.  He is an ass hole and a prick.  I can see it now.  He thinks he is right about everything and he does not like to have anyone disagree with him.  I think he would be sort of scary if he held office and had some sort of power.  I can see him with an enemy list and I can see him trying to get even with people.
  Now having said that my God his co-host Mika Brzezinski is just wonderful.  I love her.  (I know she is married with a couple of kids.)  She works so well with him and how she can do it and how he lets her get away with it I do not know.  She is just so cool and she expresses herself so well by words and looks.  She knows just how to handle him and she knows when there is no point in even trying. It is sort like she his his mom.. He is a child out of control and she sees that all she can do is let him lay on the floor and yell and scream and cry until he is all done.  How in the world did she learn the ability to set right next to some guy that is so out of control and she does not get caught up in the crazy mood and talk I do not know.  I think she saves the show and makes it worth watching.  If it was just Joe Scarborough you would turn off the show.  But you sort of enjoy watching him starting to lose it and her trying to get him back on the path and sometimes she can do it and other times you just enjoy looking at her.  She is smart and dam easy on the eyes (she is 42 years of age). 
  I wish I could get MSNBC and I would watch “Morning Joe” just to see her.

  I wanted John Edwards as president.  I was one of his early supporters.  After the election and when I heard about the scandal I am one of many that turned on him.
  He does not hold office and is just a private citizen but if he had been running in the election and it had been him and John McCain and then the fact came out that he was cheating on his wife and had fathered a child with her well John McCain would be President of the United States.  I think given the condition of the United States and how the Republican party is I fear that might have been the end of the United States.
  If John Edwards had been elected President of the United States just think of the damage and the problems for him and the Democratic party AND the entire nation.
  John Edwards knew that it could happen and yet he ran with that and knew it and put the Democratic party and the United States in danger.  Hell I think that is close to treason.
  I will never forgive him.  He could have put this nation at major risk.

“(CNN) — Pennsylvania authorities say they arrested a former United Nations weapons inspector after he allegedly exchanged sexually explicit online messages with a police officer who was pretending to be a 15-year-old girl.

Scott Ritter, the former top U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq, was arrested in November, months after police said he sent sexual messages to a police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl named Emily, the Barrett Township, Pennsylvania, Police Department said in a news release Thursday.

Ritter’s lawyer, Todd Henry, did not immediately respond to CNN’s requests for comment about the arrest, which The Pocono Record first reported on Thursday.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, "delmar4fun" contacted Barrett Township Detective Ryan Venneman — who was posing as "Emily," from Poconos, Pennsylvania — in an online chat room on February 7, 2009, saying he was a 44-year-old man from Albany, New York…” 

  I remember Scott Ritter.  He was big news on TV and was interviewed often on shows like The News Hour and the Charlie Rose show and other news media sites.  He said that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction and became a popular anti-war figure.

“Los Angeles, California (CNN) — A grandson of former President Reagan was arrested early Thursday in Los Angeles, California, police said.

Cameron Reagan, 31, was taken into custody by police responding to a house alarm at 12:20 a.m. (3:20 a.m. ET), said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department.

There was a minor amount of force used, Baek said. Reagan was detained for resisting arrest and is being held on $10,000 bail. Resisting arrest is a misdemeanor…”

  I know the story above is not “news” – not something that matters or is important.  I saw the story and I remember that Fox “news” not only reports but they make a big deal out of any family member of a Democrat that is arrested. 
  So my standard is what would Fox “news” do about a story like this if it was the grandson of any Democrat? 
  I went to the Fox “news” web site and they all sorts of “news” items. Nude homeless man running near the white house.. They have lots of “news” but not one word yet about the grandson of former President Reagan.  The son of Michael Reagan a right wing conservative commentator.
