I been saying for a long time that Glenn Beck is a total mental case. I fear he is going to hurt himself or others. He needs to see a doctor and he needs to be medicated. They need to make sure he takes his medication.
Now he is very popular with many TV viewers. His show, I find it hard to believe, is very popular. It gets great ratings.
I do not have cable TV and so I do not get Fox "news" or his TV show. From what I have heard he does not have any real advertisers!
Now I have seen this before… I commented on this blog many many years ago about it. Except it was about Rush Limbaugh. Yes, Rush Limbaugh used to be on television. I had a couple of friends that watched his TV show and loved him. They were telling me…begging me to watch Rush Limbaugh. I would say sometimes OK I will watch him until he says something stupid. I would sit about one minute and he would say something stupid and wrong and I would walk away from the TV set.
I told my friends he is not going to be on TV very long. They will take him off the air. They would say you are crazy his show is very popular. Then his TV show was moved to like midnight or one AM. I told them he is going off the air. They said no he is so popular and I told them look he has no advertisers. They would say he has advertisers and they would mention some company I never heard of. I would tell them that.. No he has no real advertisers and he will go off the TV. Well it was not long after that he was taken off of TV.
Do not feel sorry for him he was on the radio and has made millions from radio.

I do not have a problem with Bristol Palin trying to make a few dollars. She has a baby to support and I am not sure she is going to get much help from the baby’s father.

I did a little checking on the Fox News web site and the CNN web site. I sort of looked at them side by side. Now keep in mind this is not a study or comment about their cable channels. This was looking at their web sites. Take it for what it is worth.

I would not comment on Joe Scarborough appearing as a guest on a TV show last night but I had just posted about him here yesterday morning.
I try and watch each night the Charlie Rose show. I am a fan of the show.
Last night Charlie Rose had a show about President Obama and the current events and one of the three guest was Joe Scarborough. Charlie Rose is a great interviewer and he is on top of the subjects and just does a great show. Well last night Joe Scarborough just came across dull, un-interesting with nothing worthwhile to say. He had nothing to add to the show.
He also comes across like like the person that he is … not a very nice guy.. He is sort of rude and acts like he is a know it all.
If I was Charlie Rose I would never have him on the show again.

He says that they are sinners and that the need to turn to God and then things may get better for Haiti.
Because he is part of the right wing God wacky group he is allowed to keep on pouring out this crap.
Someone needs to just come and take him away and put him in a mental hospital.

I ran the digital box scan and came up with about 60 channels of digital over the air TV stations here in Fort Worth (76116). Now many of those were a signal but no television shows and some just had a test screen up and I guess they will add shows later.
Many of those were Spanish speaking stations and many were church channels.
So right now I am not sure just how many of those channels I can find anything on to watch. But I do have TV now. I can get the news, weather and the main over the air networks.

When I wake up today I will give the over the air digital box and TV set a try and see what it is like. It looks like a lot of digital channels. I mean digital as in over the air … You know what I mean.

I love movies. I have loved them all my life. When I was in grade school there was a time when my friends and I would go to the movie theater (and not at a mall) two times a week. We went on Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
When “At the Movies” with Siskel and Elbert was on TV I would watch that show all the time. When Gene Siskel died in 1999 I watched the show less often and over time it was just less and less that I watched it.
Roger Ebert has his blog on the Chicago Sun-Times site. (I got a feeling he would object to calling it a blog.) It is excellent. I wish I could write the way he writes. Check out his column. You may want to start with this journal post “Time keeps on slip, slip, slippin’ away.”

This sucks… More snow in Fort Worth. Today is December 29th of 2009. I have been here about a month and a half. I was in Miami FL for five years. My son sent me an email from Miami the other day … He was out riding his bike for five hours and got a bad sun burn.
I am not going to get a sun burn that is for sure.
My ex-wife (Darlene) signed up for a dish to get TV. She enjoys watching TV. She is getting the dish installed for $15.00 and will get 200 channels for $30.00 a month for one year. After that it is $60.00 a month.
I wonder if they allow dish antennas installed at this apartment complex. I have seen a couple of them but they might have been installed for a long time and they might have a new rule that you can not have them. I she will find out.
I think 200 channels for $30.00 a month is an excellent deal.
Update: 12/30/2009 They allow dish antennas here but there is a $150.00 deposit that you have to pay. Also they only allow the antenna on the patio or fence not on the roof. Darlene can not get dish satellite TV since the dish could not hit the satellite.
She canceled the dish TV and called Charter Communications. She is going to get TV, phone service and Internet service from them. She will pay $120.00 a month. She canceled her AT&T phone service and DSL service. Charter will do the "install" on Saturday.

A few hours ago I logged into TMZ and saw the above photo. I read the story about TMZ had just got the photo of President John F. Kennedy on a boat filled with nude woman.
TMZ said the photo was real and not a fake and that they had their "experts" study the photo and they all said it was real and not a fake and not a PhotoShop photo.
Well they now admit it was a fake. The photo is from a 1967 Playboy photo shoot.
If I were TMZ I would take my "TMZ" logo off the fake photo right now.
I would also NEVER use those "experts" again.
Truth is I think most experts and even ones that go into our can not be trusted. I do not believe hand writing "experts", voice "experts", lie detection "experts" and all the rest of them. I think we have a problem in court with "expert" witness giving information. We need to do something about it.
I will still be reading TMZ. They have a pretty good record of stealing private medical records and doing all sorts of things like that… OH sorry.. They do not steal the information they just buy it from people that steal it.

It looks like we are all going to get what we want soon…We want Richard Heene arrested. The police searched his home and the police have said they are going to charge him. As I said here…I think all they can charge him with is making a false police report. If he is found guilty…Which I am sure he will be…Then, I think, agencies and people can take him to court and collect their costs…That is what will hurt him. He could be working the rest of his life just to pay off those costs.
Man do we hate this guy.
I think we hate him so much because of the hoax and scam he pulled on us. We want to see him in handcuff if only for a few minutes.
The police do not need to send a SWAT team and toss him on the ground…I do not want to see his kids crying and yelling “don’t hurt daddy” etc. They can ask him to come to the police station and we can be happy to just see a mug shot of him with a number on it.
I will be glad when we do not hear any more about this guy.

Was the balloon boy a hoax?
It is 0345 hours and I just now watched the clip above for the first time. I watched all of the balloon event yesterday but after he was safe I did not watch any more TV.
Then I saw lots of blogs reporting that it was a hoax.
They all mention this interview. So I just got around to watching it. I think it was a hoax. They do not look truthful to me.
I hope they get interview by the FBI. If you lie to a local or state police officer it is not a crime. Of course it is a crime to make a false police report.
I do not agree with the federal law that makes it a crime to lie to an FBI agent. I think if the police are asking you questions you should be allowed to lie. Hell back about ten years ago a police officer stopped me for speeding and asked if I had my seat belt on…I did not have it on but I lied and said that I did.
But since the law is the way it is…I think the FBI should interview the husband and wife and if they lie they should go to jail.
I smell a rat. I think daddy looks like a rat if you ask me. Smile

I hate to pile on David Letterman because I know that Faux News is going to be spending all day today and for a long time hammering him. David Letterman is liberal and the right wing has not been happy about that for a long time. Now they got something they can scream about.
So I hate to do anything that gives any support to Faux News and their insane supporters.
But if David Letterman wanted to “protect” his staff and family he should have kept his dick in his pants. “His” staff did not sleep with him because he was so good looking…They laid down for him because he was the boss and had the power. He used them…Sure they were trying to use him…But he was their supervisor in a position of power over them.
